Device Modules
The Device Modules provide the interfaces to control and configure third party devices and systems. Our software is modular and device manufacturer independent. The Device Modules can be mixed and matched to provide the solution you need. The Device Modules plug into the core modules to provide a tightly integrated Management, Command and Control System.
Integarting device modules with a fully integrated management, command and control application provides an immense degree of flexibility. Business Modules can also be added to help solve many operational problems.
Surveillance Module
Omnis provides direct configuration and support for the leading IP Camera and Video Server (for connection to analogue cameras) manufacturers. The surveillance system can be installed with the Omnis Video Store or one of many third party DVRs and NVRs. The Surveillance Module allows you to manage both existing and digital networked cameras.
Video Analysis Modules
The Omnis System integrates with the latest Video Analytics. Video Analytics can be used to identify loitering, detect intrusion (using virtual trip wires) and track objects. Video Analytics combined with the Omnis Management, Command and Control Software provides a powerful security system that detects incidents early and manages the responses in an audited and compliant manner.
Alarm Panel Module
Salent integrates into the industry's leading alarm panels. The module provides the ability to monitor, receive and prioritise alarms from the panels and, post alarm, to reset them to their monitoring state.
Access Control Module
Salent support many of the leading suppliers of Access Control systems. The Salent system can receive events and monitor the status of the Access Control Systems. If linked to the latest generation of network based access control hardware (HID VertX/Edge, Netgenium...) the Salent system is able to configure, set event services and fully control the systems.
Lighting Control Module
The flexibility of the Salent Omnis Software allows it to be used to control and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated devices. The first product supported in the BMS field is a fully fledged network-based lighting controller. This allows the user to fully control the lighting within a building and easily set lighting policies and different lighting modes dependent on the time of day etc...
People Counting Module
The Omnis Software links into both video and non-video people counting systems. The counts are available in real time and can be viewed with video footage. Integration with Point of Sale terminals is also possible providing a link between the security systems, footfall and store takings.
